Mountain Pine Adventures prioritizes safety by implementing rigorous safety measures. Additionally, weather conditions are carefully monitored. These precautions help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

1. Equipment Inspection and Use:

  • Check the gear: We inspect the harness, carabiners, and other equipment for wear and tear before each use. Report any issues to the operator.

  • Wearing the right gear: We ensure a properly fitted harness, helmet, and closed-toe shoes are worn.

  • Trust the equipment: Remember that the equipment is tested and certified for your safety.

2. Following Instructions and Procedures:

  • Listen carefully to our guides: Pay close attention to instructions given by the MPA guides during the briefing and throughout the activity.

  • Follow clear procedures: Know how to hold position with legs up, what to expect when starting and stopping , and how to navigate the platforms.

  • Stay focused: Maintain awareness of your surroundings and potential hazards.

3. Maintaining Proper Form and Techniques:

  • Keep your body in a horizontal position: This helps maintain balance and control during the ride.

  • Keep arms and legs straight: This helps to minimize air resistance and maintain a smooth ride.

  • Lift your legs high before touching down on the platform: This can help reduce the impact and potential injuries.

4. Operator and Park Responsibilities:

  • Operator training:

Guides are fully trained in zipline safety procedures, equipment inspection, and rescue techniques.

  • Equipment maintenance:

Operators are responsible for regularly inspecting and maintaining the zipline equipment, including cables, platforms, and anchor points.

  • Supervision:

Trained staff are present at both ends of the zipline to supervise participants.

  • Patron screening:

Mountain Pine operators will screen participants for any health conditions or limitations that may make them unsuitable for ziplining.

  • Rescue procedures:

Mountain Pine operators are trained in rescue procedures in case of an emergency.

5. Personal Responsibility:

  • Follow all rules: Avoid risky behaviour and stay within the designated areas.

  • Be aware of your surroundings: Pay attention to potential hazards, such as obstacles, vegetation, or other participants.

  • Communicate with guides: If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to ask the guides.

  • If you're unsure, don't do it: If you're uncomfortable with any part of the activity, it's best to decline and seek alternative options.

By following these safety guidelines and taking personal responsibility, participants will have a safe and enjoyable ziplining experience.
