1. What are the age and weight requirements for ziplining?
• Weight: A minimum weight requirement of 100 lbs. (45 kg) and a maximum weight limit of 275 lbs. (125 kg). If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us anytime.
• Age: Participants typically need to be at least 7 years old. Anyone under the age 18 years old, must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian.
2. What should I wear for ziplining?
• Clothing: Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing. Avoid loose clothing that could get caught in the equipment.
• Footwear: Closed-toe shoes are mandatory. Sneakers or hiking boots are ideal.
• Accessories: Remove any loose jewellery and tie back long hair.
3. What safety gear is required?
• Helmet: All participants must wear a helmet (provided by us).
• Harness: A properly fitted harness is required (provided by us).
4. Are there any health restrictions?
• Medical Conditions: For everyone’s safety, participants with heart conditions, back or neck problems, or those who are pregnant are not permitted on the zipline.
• Physical Ability: Participants should be in good physical condition and able to climb stairs and walk on uneven terrain.
5. What are the basic safety rules to follow?
• Listen to Guides: Always follow the instructions given by the guides.
• Check Equipment: We will ensure your harness and helmet are secure before each zip.
• Hands and Feet: Keep your hands on top of the trolley and lift your legs high before landing on the platform.
6. What should I do if I don’t reach the platform?
• Stay Calm: Don’t panic if you don’t make it to the platform. We will come and retrieve you.
7. Can I bring my camera or phone?
• Restrictions: Phones and cameras are permitted as long as they are tucked into your pocket or worn on a lanyard.
8. What happens in bad weather?
• Weather Policy: We may close during severe weather conditions such as thunderstorms or high winds.
9. What is the cost for ziplining?

It all began with a dream of starting something completely new to the Cabot Trail. In 2016 we established Mountain Pine Adventures, bring the first commercial zip line to the world famous Cabot Trail more recently expanding to Atlantic Canada's Largest Over water Zip line. We bring an action packed adrenaline seekers adventure to Cape Breton Island!
